Interior Walling

We recently decided to make some updates to our house and the first thing that I have been longing to update were our walls.
So, with a desire for a bit of a change and an idea in mind of using something different to a traditional painting method, I have been looking into plaster techniques by Odilon Creations.

A firm favourite of architects and interior designers alike, the Belgian company specialise in personalising ancient plaster techniques such as Tadelakt, LX and Pietra de Calce.

These lime based products and their artisanal applications were originally used in Moroccan palaces but their elegant finishes are increasingly popular for residential use on walling or bathrooms. Despite being hard as stone, the final aspect is smooth and luxuriously silk-soft to touch.

If you are interested in this sort of finish but would like an option that gives a similar appearance but not such a timely or costly investment then you could also look at natural lime-paint options by brands such as Bauwerk or Pure & Original.
