Regency Convex Mirror

The Investment

The convex mirror was favoured in the Neo-classical Regency and Georgian periods in England and America, in the early 19th century, often surmounted by eagles and surrounded by smaller spheres. Traditionally made with a gilt wood or mahogany frame and a reeded ebonised slip, occasionally featuring candle arms at the base.
